This is the DEFINITIVE REVIEW for the Wacom Cintiq Pro 16. Make sure you watch this before buying!

I’ve been using my Cintiq Pro 16 for a couple of months now, and it’s definitely an upgrade from my old cintiq — mainly because of the high pixel density display and low parallax. NOTE: I’m running this using the Wacom link in 2.5k resolution. I will post another review video when I eventually build a new computer that can run 4k.

Watch this video for info on “forcing” the 4k:

UPDATE: I’ve tried to force the 4k through the Wacom Link and it didn’t work for me at all. Some seem to have luck with it but it’s not a sure thing. I’ve installed USB-C ports and that doesn’t work either, so I believe my GPU is just not powerful enough…

UPDATE: Squiggly lines fixed!

NOTE: So far I’ve mostly been doing line art because that is my focus as an artist, however I will post a follow up video that features some painting in Photoshop and shows off the wide color gamut (94% Adobe RGB).

The lag is an issue when drawing continuous lines. But, I don’t notice it when I’m drawing short lines and details.

If you have any questions, leave a comment and I will get back to you.

Thanks for watching!
