With the release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 drawing near, the rumors on the specifications and price are only getting louder.

As per IB Times, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 specifications are expected to conquer the iPhone 7.

“The Note 6 will be launched in two CPU editions, one featuring a Exynos 8890 SOC and the other one driven by Snapdragon 820 chip,” it said.

As for the display specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will come with a slim RGB matrix AMOLED screen, which customers of Galaxy S II are aware of. The display also boasts about 2560×1440 pixel Quad HD resolution.

Mobi Picker, in the mean time, shared rumors concerning the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 highlighting 6 GB of RAM. Nevertheless, it mentioned that the initial reports originated from China so the authenticity may seem suspect.

GalaxyNote website also reported initial reports of the camera specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 which will allegedly feature 32 mega-pixels and 9-mega-pixel front snapper. The company also did not scrip on the battery this time because the device will feature a 4200 mAh of power.

When it comes to the price, the report claimed that it’ll cost somewhere within $750 to $850 dollars, which would be fairly costly even though less than the basic iPhone 7 which is expected to cost around $875 for the 16GB version and over $1,100 for the 128GB version.

Original rumors indicated that the release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will be in Aug. prior to the IFA 2016 in Berlin, which makes it possible for the company to jump the gun on the launch of iPhone 7 in September 2016.
